‘UBCO Australia’ marks another milestone for Utility Electric Vehicle Company

The global leader in utility electric vehicles, UBCO, has acquired Exeks Pty Ltd trading as UBCO Australia. This marks a further consolidation of UBCO’s growth globally and enables greater expansion into the Australian market.

UBCO Australia Pty Ltd will operate from the existing UBCO Australia HQ in Braeside, Melbourne. With a stable and growing team, and many happy customers across Australia UBCO sees the Australian market going from strength to strength.

UBCO CEO, Katherine Sandford, says “This acquisition is part of our ongoing growth strategy and allows us to better service and support our customer base in Australia. Accelerating our sales effort is the first order of business, targeting both enterprise opportunities and consumers.”

Mark Phillips heads the team in Australia, and says “We’ve come a long way since I started Exeks with some UBCO stock sitting in a 3PL warehouse. Now we have a growing business with a great team operating from our own offices and warehouse in Melbourne, a growing dealer network across Australia, and a number of exciting fleet opportunities.”

As appetite grows for sustainable transport options, UBCO provides utility EVs that are tough, lightweight, quiet, sustainable, and safe to use. With EV adoption expected to grow over 10 times in the next 10 years, UBCO is proving to be the preferred choice for many applications both on and off the road.

The company recently raised $US10 million to fund global expansion off the back of a strong year, including expansion across new and existing markets and the introduction of its subscription service. UBCO will use the funding to continue to grow and resource their global team and to fast-track R&D and market development.
